Ripple Coop 4 Limited was set up by Ripple Energy Limited to raise funds and operate the Whitelaw Brae windfarm.

The project and site was purchased in its entirety in 2024 by Thrive Renewables. Ripple Energy and Thrive Renewables were discussing options for Coop 4 to be part of the Whitelaw Brae project, however no deal was made.

Ripple Energy went into administration in early 2025 without communicating the status or future of the project to it’s members.

Board of Directors We are sorry to announce that Ursula Stevenson has resigned from the board on 7th May 2025 in order to prioritise her other commitments. We are very grateful for Ursula’s efforts in the past and her assistance this year in transitioning the board into a quorate and functional team; without her efforts we would not be in the position we are now.
